The Hellenic Shipbrokers Association (HSA) is organizing its training seminars for the 29th consecutive year.
The HSA Seminars have been awarded repeatedly and are designed for all those who are willing to become active or are already active in the shipping profession, whether they are students, graduates, or professionals. The Seminars offer concentrated practical knowledge that cannot be obtained elsewhere, resolve questions, fill in gaps, and cover all issues related to today’s shipping and practice.
All of the Lecturers are experienced professionals in the shipping industry, who have the ambition to pass on their knowledge and highlight younger executives through continuous information, the cultivation of interpersonal contacts, and lifelong learning, thereby maintaining a high-quality knowledge base among professionals in the field.
Attending the required number of Seminars (depending on other studies), combined with successful participation in the relevant exams, leads to the acquisition of the SGC (Shipbrokers Gnosis Certificate), which is also endorsed by the University of Piraeus.
It should be noted that graduates of the Seminars and holders of the SGC have very high rates of absorption in companies in the sector, both in the field of ship chartering or ship buying and selling brokerage, as well as in ship owners or ship chartering companies, but also other related sectors such as marine insurance, agency, ship supplies, etc., and those who excel have the opportunity to continue their education through scholarships for study in postgraduate programs of educational institutions collaborating with the HSA (University of Piraeus, Athens University of Economics, ALBA, AEGEAN COLLEGE, etc.).
